While that's true, it's also a fact that CO2 levels in the atmosphere have


been way WAY higher in the last 4 billion years. Life adapts. And human beings might be the most capable species on the planet when it comes to adapting to a changing environment.

We've changed our coal burning plants to be cleaner. We've increased our use of Natural Gas. We're using more wind, solar, and hydroelectric power. And we could reduce our carbon footprint quite a bit more if we allowed a few more nuclear power plants to come online. I don't believe hamstringing our economy is the answer, especially when China and India aren't doing a single thing to cut their footprint.
